Visual Intelligence for Student Roadmapping (VISR)

A visual strategy tool that turns a student's long-term goals into a clear route, and Flowgram, the daily timeline that puts that route into their actual week.

Overview

Students are not lazy, they are overloaded. Classes, exams, work, clubs, applications, habits, errands and transit all compete for the same hours, and most productivity tools just add more tasks to the pile.

VISR asks a better question: what are you trying to achieve, what is blocking you, and what should you cut? We built it in 24 hours at the Cursor Hackathon at SAIT.

Flowgram

I conceived and led development of Flowgram, VISR's full-stack daily execution layer. It translates long-term goals into actionable day and week schedules that sit alongside calendar events, routines, notes, checklists and personal time blocks.

Flowgram imports calendars, detects free time, plans around transit and reschedules, reads out voice briefings and suggests what to pack using OpenWeather and Nominatim. Supabase PostgreSQL and Next.js APIs route tasks from the Strategy Map into persistent daily timelines, so a bottleneck such as "no shipped portfolio project" becomes dated tasks in the student's real week.

Strategy Map and AI planning

I also contributed to the Strategy Map and its AI planning system. It uses Groq's Llama API with Zod validation and deterministic fallbacks to generate a destination, strategic pillars, a bottleneck analysis, a seven-day action plan and opportunity checks such as "should I join this club?", explaining the trade-off and what would need to be cut.
